The Dolphin in Sydenham is owned and managed by Inn Public, a small group of related, but very individual pubs in south-east London, each place with a vibrant life of its own.

While cherishing their distinctiveness, we believe that some things should always be the same. Every time and anywhere you visit us, you will find that our welcome is warm, the drinks are cold, and the food is delicious.

In our pubs you will meet great people, staff and customers alike, so you will always be in good company.

We’ve been around for over 15 years now and you reward us by coming back and letting us look after you every day.

The safety and welfare of our guests and our team members is important to us and we will continue to abide by all COVID restrictions and recommendations and request your patience and cooperation:

  • Customer details will be taken on arrival to support the NHS track/trace programme.
  • Enhanced health and hygiene practices are in place across all areas, including regular hand washing, cleaning surfaces and toilet checks.
  • We have multiple sanitising points around the building for guests and the team.
  • Service will be at tables only; no orders can be placed at the bar.
  • Tables are thoroughly sanitised between uses and table service is provided in all areas.
  • To ensure social distancing all tables are placed at a minimum of at least 1-metre distance.
  • We are following all government guidelines on PPE.
  • Disposable single-use menus are provided to all customers.
  • We only take card / contactless payments and don’t accept cash.
