The Dolphin in Sydenham is owned and managed by Inn Public, a small group of related, but very individual pubs in southeast London, each place with a vibrant life of its own.

While cherishing their distinctiveness, we believe that some things should always be the same. Every time and anywhere you visit us, you will find that our welcome is warm, the drinks are cold, and the food is delicious.

In our pubs you will meet great people, staff and customers alike, so you will always be in good company.

We’ve been around for over 15 years now and you reward us by coming back and letting us look after you every day.

Draught Beer and Cider menu

Neck Oil (4.3%)


A down-to-earth beer with a light and zingy taste.

The Kernel (5-6%)


Pale Ale. A basic recipe is followed, with each batch utilising different hop varieties from around the world based on seasonality, availability, and the whims of the brewer.

Hepcat (4.5%)


A vibrant IPA with a fruity nose, juicy body and a bright taste.

Rolling Man (5.2%)


Inspired by the ridiculously tasty hoppy beer Deya brewers fell for. Incredibly soft and delicate with intense tropical fruit hop aromatics and saturation.

Birra Moretti (4.6%)


An authentically Italian, quality lager with some hoppy and fruity notes.

Villages Rafiki (4.3%)


Deptford Session IPA. A hazy, pale-amber beer. Well hopped and backed up in a resinous, pithy, malty, ale with a light bitterness.

Hofmeister Weisse (5.4%)


Handcrafted in the heart of Bavaria. Weisse is brewed colder and longer with only four locally sourced ingredients - natural mineral water, hops, wheat and barley.

San Miguel (5%)


A pilsner-style lager with hints of smoke against a background of grains.

Pravha (4%)


All the bold flavour of a high quality Czech brewed pilsner, perfectly balanced with an unexpectedly light and refreshing taste..

Camden Hells (4.6%)


Clean, crisp and dry German style beer.

Guinness (4.1%)


This iconic beer, rich and creamy, distinctively black, and velvety in its finish.

L&G Keller Pils (4.8%)


Lost & Grounded - Pilsner malt from Germany combined with three traditional hop varieties – Magnum, Perle and Hallertauer Mittelfruh – to produce a clean, unfiltered, Hop Bitter Lager Beer.

Level Head (4%)


Session IPA. The aroma is hoppy and balanced between tropical and grapefruit notes

Stowford Press Cider (4.8%)


A lightly sparkling cider with a fresh apple aroma.

Cask Ale and Cider Menu

We rotate a wide and seasonal selection of local and national cask ales, but the range changes almost every day so please check the blackboards or ask your server for what’s currently on tap. We’ve listed examples of some of the ales below…

Cask Ale 1


Easy drinking Session Ale including Adnams Southwold Bitter (3.7%), Ruddles Best (3.7%) and Morland Original (4%).

Cask Ale 2


Standard and Craft Ale including Brockley Pale Ale 4.8%, Old Speckled Hen (4.5%), Darkstar Hophead (3.8%) and Adnams Ghost Ship (4.5%).

Cask Ale 3


Premium Ale such as St Austell Tribute 4.2%, London Pride 4.1%, Marstons Pedigree (4.5%) and Harvey’s Best Bitter (4%).
